SENDING OUT
WORKERS INTO THE RIPENED HARVEST FIELDS!
From the time the Lord called me to this ministry of taking the Gospel to the Nations, these Words of Jesus have had a special place in my heart. For the Lord gave me a vision of the harvest fields the day He called me in April of 1959. I was in the US Army serving as a Medic at that time in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. In the vision there were the masses of people of all races and people.
Before I go on with my message to our prayer partners, let me say that the photos you see on this page and on the back, are some of the workers we are supporting around the world. These pastors and evangelists are some of the workers we are supporting in Uganda, Africa. We began supporting these you see on the photos some time ago. We are able to do so for only $25.00 per month per Worker. We are hearing reports that God that is blessing their outreach ministries to their nations. More good news is that earlier this year we took on an additional 20 national workers in the country of Malawi, East Africa at $25.00 per month. This brings a total of over 120 workers that you are helping us support, so that somewhere in the world at least one of them is preaching the Gospel. This is 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, that a worker we are supporting is preaching the Gospel and bringing people to Christ. Your prayers and faith standing with us makes this a continuing harvest. As we lift up our eyes, we do see the fields are ripe for harvest. We believe that it is harvest time. We are not only praying that God would send workers out, we are helping them go to the harvest fields. Yes, dear friend, the harvest is great and the workers few. I believe Jesus asked us to have a vision of the harvest and then He said “Pray.” Why did He say pray? I believe, so He could speak to us to go! When we hear the Voice of God the most is when we are talking to Him. He then can speak to our hearts. One of the saddest verses in the Bible is found in Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. Jesus is coming soon. Let us do our part. Pray for these workers. |
